It ensures that IT infrastructure services and systems remain resilient, supportable, cost-effective, and relevant, while consistently delivering the functionality expected by users.

The Team Leader – Infrastructure and Systems role requires a blend of leadership, technical expertise, and strategic thinking. Candidates must have a:
Technically, the role demands proficiency in managing both on-premises and cloud-based systems, particularly Microsoft Windows Server, SQL Server, and Red Hat Linux. Familiarity with Active Directory, PowerShell scripting, and identity management is essential. The candidate should also be experienced in Microsoft Azure, including hybrid and multi-cloud environments, and have a solid grasp of infrastructure automation tools like Morpheus.
Security and networking are key areas, requiring knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, SIEM tools, and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST. Virtualisation (VMware, Hyper-V), backup and disaster recovery (Veeam, Azure Site Recovery), and monitoring tools (PRTG, SolarWinds, Splunk) are also critical.
Beyond technical skills, the role calls for strong leadership capabilities, including team development, project delivery, vendor management, and strategic input. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
